Jeff Kent Houston Astros Game Wining Home Run Swing 8x10 Autographed Photograph
"The 2004 National League Championship Series has been one of the most memorable playoff matchups in Major League history. The St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros were deadlocked at 2 games a piece going into game 5. With the series tied at 2, the scene was Minute Maid Park in Houston. For 5 2/3 innings, Brandon Backe no-hit the best lineup in the National League. Over eight innings, he one-hit them. But that was just one remarkable story line in a remarkable October baseball game. With the score 0-0 in the 9th inning, MVP candidate Lance Berkman was intentionally walked to get to veteran 2B Jeff Kent. On the first pitch from All Star closer Jason Isringhausen, Jeff Kent unloaded and belted a shot off the railroad track at Minute Maid Park. It was the 1st time in Major League postseason history that a 0-0 game was decided by a game winning home run in extra innings. Jeff Kent hand signed this memorable 8x10 photograph. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. "
